E-Commerce Website for Handmade Shoes
An eCommerce website that features handmade shoes in various unique designs. This WordPress website uses a customized version of WooCommerce plugin for its shopping cart functionality.
Project Summary
This WordPress website was developed as an eCommerce site for handmade shoes. The shopping cart has standard functionality but several features were modified to suit the business requirements. WooCommerce, which is a very popular WordPress plug-in, was used to implement the shopping cart functionality on the website. This plug-in was customized to accommodate additional user inputs and other variations to match the business requirements. One of the customized user input was the color selection component that allowed the users to update the shoe colors and see the custom designed shoes in real time viewer.
The content on the website is being managed using the standard WordPress content management backend. Multiple WordPress themes were developed and implemented on various sections of the website as a part of this project. We also developed seasonal and holiday themes for the website so our client can change its look and feel as and when required.
