A UK based eCommerce website that features women’s clothing and accessories from a reputed fashion designer. This Magento website uses all of the built in features with areas customized to handle the custom business processes.
Project Summary
This UK based fashion website features women’s clothing and accessories from one of the very reputed fashion designers. The site hosts a large inventory of fashion clothing and other products managed through the customized Magento backend. We implemented the Magento templates along with custom Magento modules to capture all of the product specifications. We also imported and setup the entire inventory of several hundred fashion products within the Magento database as a part of this project. The main challenge area of this project was the complexity of user interface design and handling its responsive nature to support multiple devices and screen sizes.
We added custom built sliders to allow the site users to sort the products by specifying the price range. We also customized the shipping module to allow for discounted shipping rates for different levels of purchases. The Magento system was integrated with an external email marketing system to enable sending of newsletters to the existing customer base from within the Magento backend. We also performed a CRM integration to manage the customer base and QuickBooks integration to import the sales data for accounting purpose.
